The SiB Business Week 2010

For years students of the international bachelor course ISTM (International Tourism Management), AWS (Applied Business Languages and International Management) and EFA (European Finance and Accounting) of the Bremen University of Applied Sciences School of International Business (SiB = faculty 1) have been organizing their own business congresses. These congresses are known as the SiB-Congress, the AWS-Forum and the EFA-Symposium.

In 2010 the School of International Business will introduce a new concept. The three previously independent congresses will be united together with some additional faculty 1 events under the umbrella of one three-day convention: the SiB Business Week. The central theme of this faculty 1 convention is:

„Think Global, Act Noble – Social Responsibility at the Economic and Corporate Level”

Today entrepreneurs are increasingly seeking to ensure greater long-term success. Sustainable management requires obviously more than the attainment of the highest possible profit. Over a period of three days national and international personalities working in fields such as economy, applied research and academia will approach the central theme of the convention from multiple perspectives in presentations and workshops.
